Chiswick House Dog Show 2018

Despite a soggy start the annual Chiswick dogfest brought out the sunshine and was once again a resounding success. From the tiniest to the most majestic the local canine population flocked to the Chiswick House Cricket Ground with their owners in tow to celebrate this tail waggingly pleasing event.

There were 18 classes including Best Young Handler – won by Mia and her dog Breeze; the Egg & Spoon Challenge – won by the SpongeBob Team; and Fancy Dress for dogs and adults won by the talented Debbie Kingston and friends with their fox terriers masquerading this year as ‘The Canine Cannonballs’.

All class winners were entered into Best in Show which was won by Evie, the Naughtiest Dog winner owned by Lauren.

The show is run and managed by a huge team of volunteers from the age of 8 upwards. Money raised is donated towards the maintenance and upkeep of Chiswick House and Gardens which needs in excess of £600,000 per year to keep the area in good condition and maintain free access for all.
