Council Prepares for Weekend of Freedom

With a weekend when pubs and restaurants can reopen, the council prepares to patrol local hospitality businesses to ensure that the regulations are being upheld. In Chiswick, only a selection of pubs and restaurants are reopening. Fullers pubs that choose to reopen will be using a booking system and customers will be met at the door and led to their table.

Steve Curran, Leader of the Council gives us a weekly update. Cllr Curran tells us this week about the false reports of a COVID spike in the Borough. With the returen of football to Brentford, Cllr Curran hopes that fans will stay away as the stadium is not open to the public. He urges the public to complete the council survey on the effects of COVID. You can find out more and complete the survey HERE.

Tempting though it is, Steve will not be visiting his local pub this weekend!
