Clean Up Chiswick Back Common
Our second gathering will be this Sunday 24th February as a group to tidy up the Chiswick Back Common and the side roads. Rocks Lane have been kind enough to give us a bit shelter after the clean where we can all have a chat over some tea and cake.
As most of you are already aware, these clean up exercises are about celebrating our shared spaces and educating our younger generations about good citizenship and stewardship for their communities. By you making this effort to be there on Sunday, not only do we build closer bonds, but our actions set an example and builds solid foundations for our future generations as they learn to preserve the environment.
In addition to refreshment, Rocks Lane will also provide us with a couple of footballs for our younger volunteers, so they can have a bit of a kick-about. Perhaps we will get the chance to see a mixed families and friends match towards the end!
