Kids Cookery School Supports The Community

Fiona Hamilton Fairley (MBE) and her son, Tristan, run the Kids Cookery School based on Gunnersbury Lane in Acton. The school is a registered charity catering mainly for special needs children from the local community. Founded 1995, more than 130,000 young people have enjoyed learning new skills in catering in the specially kitted out, kids cookery school kitchen.

Fiona and Tristan have great energy and generosity of spirit. The CV 19 crisis had a negative impact on bookings at the Kids Cookery School. However, the team decided to use the time positively and began cooking meals for both patients and staff in nearby care homes. They are now operating on a full-time basis making 20 to 30 tasty and nutritious meals daily.
