New initiative provides households with combined remote chef and personal nutritionist.

‘Jules The Foodie’, is a new healthy food delivery service for Chiswick and the West London area that gives people access to nutritionally balanced meals without having to leave the house.

Founder Jules Kane has been an integral part of the London food landscape for many years. She was originally taught at Leith’s before going on to work with the “godfather of modern British cookery” Alastair Little, as well as enjoying stints at Le Gavroche and Bibendum.  Having been inundated by family and friends requesting healthy meals whilst they were adjusting to working from home and the ‘new normal’, Jules decided to launch a new business initiative devising and delivering healthy and nutritious meals across West London.

Commenting on the intiative, Jules said: “People are more time-poor or stressed and stretched than ever and cooking healthy food that actually tastes good takes time and can be expensive.  I think for some, the novelty of the DIY cooking kits is also beginning to wear off, although the desire to eat more healthily remains. While I’m very lucky to have learned from some of London’s greatest chefs – Simon Hopkinson, Alastair Little to name a couple – I wanted to ensure my recipes were also first-rate nutritionally which is why I’m pleased to have partnered with well-known nutritionist Amber Silverman. working alongside her, I’ve developed Nourish + Thrive which gives people the option of three or five-day menus covering breakfast, lunch and dinner, all of which are nutritionally balanced. Ultimately it means more people can now have access to a private chef and nutritionist, at a fraction of the cost.”

For busy households, I’ve launched the ‘Fridge Fill’ menu which does what is says – fills fridges with ready to eat dishes from family classics such as lasagne through to modern dining favourites like Moroccan chickpea and date tagine. Both options are designed to take the hard work out of eating well.”

The launch has already received endorsement by local writer Fran Warde and the Nourish + Thrive programmes has been adopted by the exclusive Fitness Lab   who have chosen to partner with Jules The Foodie in conjunction with their PT packages.
