Local Initiative Tackles Litter In Chiswick

A recent local initiative to tackle the problem of litter in Chiswick is now thriving. Local resident Mitra Alam was tired of seeing litter on Turnham Green and suggested a regular community clean-up. The idea was taken on and promoted by local councillor Ron Mushiso.

You can join the happy band of litter pikers on the last Sunday of each month at 2pm. It’s a great way to meet other Chiswick locals and make Chiswick look great.

Buffy Pond (never one to miss the opportunity of tea and cake after the session) went along to help.
