Situated in Bedford Park close to Turnham Green station, St Michael and All Angels is a stunning Grade II listed church designed by Norman Shaw (who designed many of the earlier houses in Bedford Park) and erected in 1879. The church was consecrated in 1880 and now holds a variety of events including Bedford Park Festival and Chiswick Book Festival. Additionally, Anglo-Catholic services such as readings, baptisms, weddings and funerals are available.

The Parish Hall, designed in 1884 by architect Maurice B. Adams, and the adjoining north aisle, completed in 1892, were later added to the church. In 1951, St Michaels and All Angels was listed as a historic building but has since had repairs due to the roof and stained-glass windows being damaged during World War II.

In 1963, the Bedford Park Society formed; in 1967, the Bedford Park Festival began and has continued every June since then with the aim to raise money for local charities and for the maintenance of the church
