Thames Tidefest Ready To Make A Splash In Chiswick

Thames Tidefest – the annual celebration of the River Thames is set to make a splash in Chiswick this weekend.

You can visit the Thames foreshore on Sunday 8th September 2019 to enjoy free entertainment, displays and exhibitions together with boat trips, foreshore walks, kayaking and paddle boarding.  There is a fishing competition (yes, you’ll be amazed at the fish they catch in the Thames) and you can visit John’s Boatyard just upstream in Brentford.

Sponsored by Fullers and Thames Water, Tidefest features exhibitors such as ZSL, RNLI, Strand-On-The-Green Sailing Club and WaterAid.

The Thames Tidefest is a glorious celebration of one of our greatest natural resources in Chiswick – the River Thames.

Chloe Graham went to the water’s edge to chat with organiser, Martin Salter.
