Cercle Francais de Chiswick – Monet and the Tiger
The French Circle of Chiswick was founded in 1990 to facilitate the meeting between French residents, Francophiles and students of French through conferences given by Francophone specialists, as well as other cultural activities.
Most of the speakers who come to the Circle are part of the Alliance Française. They have a lot of experience, and give lectures all over England, as well as in different countries of Europe. Moreover, they all have a varied list of themes, and it is for this reason that we invite some on several occasions.
As we prepare the program for the coming season, we try to choose themes that interest most of our members, with as much variety as possible. From time to time we contact other French Circles for recommendations of speakers and themes that their members have particularly appreciated.
