Award Winning Chiswick Teacher Retires at 81!
An award winning local teacher, Susi Stanley-Carroll, has recently retired after 56 years in the profession, making her one of the UK’s longest serving teachers.
Stanley-Carroll served for 32 of those years at Chiswick and Bedford Park Primary School, where she was also secretly nominated by pupils and won the BT Teacher of the Year Award in 2009.
Former pupil and reporter for Chiswickbuzz, Amy Assad, spoke to Susi about the highs and lows of her impressive career.
