Chiswick Summer Festival

Celebrate Summer in Chiswick with a festival of children activities, lifestyle workshops, valuations and our biggest auction of 2,000 lots this year.

Sale Dates: Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th August.

The festival will start with a weekend of fun activities for all ages including Lego workshops
and painting classes, a range of specialist events including lifestyle workshops and
wine tasting as well as free and confidential valuations provided by our general valuers on
any item you may wish to sell at auction.

Our Saleroom will be taken over by our Affordable Luxury and Design & Interiors auctions including Fashion, Jewellery, Antiques, Furniture, Paintings, Books and Carpets. The Design & Interiors sale will feature a private collection of items from internationally renowned Interior Designer Broosk Saib.

Weekend Festival Programme

Saturday, 10th August (10am-6pm)

11am-1pm | Children Lego Session / Your favourite Toy Valuation
Be inspired to build the ultimate creation at our drop-in Lego session and have your favourite Toy or Lego valued by specialists Winnie McGee and Peter Winnicott.

1-1.30pm | Lifestyle Workshop: How to clean your Jewellery
Inez Tobin, Jewellery Specialist, unveils her best tips on how to keep your jewellery sparkling at home.

1.30-3.30pm | Typewriter Art Demonstration
Get involved in this interactive live demonstration from fine artist, Keira Rathbone who will be sharing her unique typewriting technique.

3.30-4pm | Lifestyle: Q&A with Broosk Saib
Learn from Interior Design master Broosk Saib on how best to style a room and about his experiences working on some of the most gorgeous interior spaces from around the world.

4.30-5.30pm | Wine Tasting
Join Sam Hellyer, Head of Wine & Spirits, for an exclusive wine tasting featuring wines from a number of Urban Wineries and wines from Italian cellar Vine & Cork.

Sunday, 11th August (10am-5pm)

12-3pm | Mini Picassos Children Art Workshop
Is your child the next Picasso? Bring them along to Mini Picassos children art workshop, where they can learn how to draw and paint like the masters.

1-1.20pm | From the Discovery to the Conservation of Collections: In Conversation with Suzanne Zack
Fine Art Specialist Suzanne Zack unveils the journey behind collections: from discovery to authentication discussing her own discoveries of works by John Constable, and will provide insights on how to preserve and display your works on paper and miniatures.

2-3pm | Lifestyle Workshop: How to set the perfect Tea Service
Join John Rogers, Head of Silver & Objects of Vertu, for tips on how to become the perfect host at your next Afternoon Tea Party.

3.30-4.30pm | Kids Mock Auction
Step up to the rostrum and learn how to be an auctioneer with Specialist and Auctioneer Matt Caddick.
