Free Beekeeping Lecture in Chiswick
Find out more about the importance of bees and other pollinators on your allotment/garden from Ray Nicol, the apiarist from Twickenham & Thames Valley Beekeepers Association.
Not only will you get a fascinating insight into the hive mind, but you’ll also learn more about the busy seven-week life of the average honey bee, and why insecticides are so harmful to these vital tiny creatures. Pollinators are responsible for one in three mouthfuls you take, and without them we’d have no fruit, nuts, wine or beer. Also included in Ray’s talk will be a screening of the short Centenary Film created for the TTBKA by CHAS member Alice D Cooper.
So don’t miss the Free Beekeeping Lecture in Chiswick
Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided.
