Chiswick Seventh Day Adventist Church is holding a Community Health Awareness event on Chiswick Back Common on Sunday July 22nd 2018 between 10am – 4pm. The event is billed as ‘Health In The Park’ and offers residents the chance to ‘Kickstart Your New Healthy Lifestyle’. This will be a fun family event with a serious intent. It will be staffed with Registered Nurses and Practitioners and Mental Health Counsellors offering a range of free health tests including testing and checking of blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol. There will First Aiders giving advice and a Qualified Fitness Trainer running healthy activities including ‘Fitness in the Park’. Music to accompany the event will be provided by a local choir and other local groups, as well as face painting for children.
