Overview: Since its creation the course has been continually improved upon with its abundance of trees helping to attract a wide variety of wildlife, improve the drainage and demand that golfers ensure their aim is true. The course has been used by the Middlesex County Golf Union for countless matches and Championships.
Standard Scratch Score for Wyke Green is 69 (73 for Ladies). The course record of 64 was set in the second round of the Worman’s Sword by Mr S Fallon in 2009.
The resident golf professional is David Callaway who offers various instruction packages and services through the onsite pro shop.
Membership options vary widely depending on the requirements of the individual. It costs £29 to play midweek which increases to £40 or more at the weekends.
Chiswickbuzz View: A genuinely friendly and supportive club. The fees are reasonable for a London based golf course and there are some challenging quite narrow holes. The club has a reputation for being social especially around Diwali! A relaxed and informal approach makes the club a great place for a cold one in the summer evenings, plus you can have fun practicing putting (badly in my case) as the green is opposite the entrance to the club house.
