Barnes Bridge Ladies Rowing Club

rowing club

The Civil Service Boat House,
Riverside Drive,
Dukes Meadows,
Chiswick  W4 2SH

Overview: The club is managed by volunteers who help keep the boat house functioning, the boats fixed, head races organised and fundraise in between.

The membership fees help pay for coaches, boats, repairs, launch petrol etc. The club tries to make as much money as possible at the tideway head races with catering and other money making activities to help raise money for new boats, blades, cox boxes etc.

The club has a Committee who play an important role in the rowing season ensuring we are set up to train, row and win.
We will be running another beginners course during Spring 2020 – register your interest. The course is ideal for those interested in getting an introduction to the sport and improving both general and rowing specific fitness. The plan is for you to also have heaps of fun and meet a great group of people. The course is for women 18+. We aim to get you fit, understand the basic techniques of rowing and give you time on the water.
