Chiswick Horticultural Virtual Summer Show 2020
In the year of Covid, staging a summer show was a new challenge for the stalwarts of Chiswick Horticultural. Undaunted, they decided to cultivate a hybrid – the virtual summer show. Such a project is always a risk, but to the delight of the organisers it really did bear fruit. With online submissions from around the world, this years show is certainly a record breaker.
Celebrity actress and broadcaster Rula Lenska presented the certificates in a ceremony that is bound to warm the hearts of the many virtual horticulturalists.
Amy Assad ventured into the allotment for a socially distanced report.
