Covid-19 was a call to action for many would-be volunteers in Chiswick, with increased efforts for the charity Foodbox — which, during lockdown, was also essential to those isolating at home.

Amy Assad spoke to Chiswick volunteers Hannah and Lara about their work with Foodbox and the charity’s chair Councillor Corinna Smart, who discusses the issues brought on by the pandemic and the role Foodbox plays in catering to rising needs, beyond lockdown.
