Curator and international art dealer Joanna Bird has opened her lovely home in Chiswick to host an exhibition of contemporary ceramics.
She discusses her latest theme – the Asian influenced ‘Orient to Ornament’ which encompasses exotic Jewellery from Afghanistan to Japanese Ornaments. Joanna talks about her love of ceramics and how they can be perceived as objects of beauty that could compliment a painting in your home. Joanna also touches upon a very exciting upcoming ceramics exhibition at Chatsworth which includes the embedding of the Duke and Duchess’s DNA into clay panels and we find out what is her favorite piece from her latest range.
