Chiswickbuzz announces unique and innovative SPORTS coverage

Chiswickbuzz has long been a leader in spotlighting community events, issues, and entertainment in W4 and surrounding area. Sport, naturally, has featured in those articles. However, I am excited to reveal ahead of the Chiswickbuzz relaunch in March that this about to significantly expand! We be will taking local Sports coverage on to a whole new level.

Leveraging existing relationships with leading professional football, rugby sports clubs Chiswickbuzz will offer regular updates, news, results, commentary and upcoming fixture information as well as exclusive local insights.

W4 and its environs offers, not only, some of the best sporting fixtures and venues in all London but arguably all Europe.

A number of topflight, battle honed Championship football clubs operate within 3 miles or so from the leafy café clad High Road. Whilst QPR, languish in the lower part of the league, Fulham and Brentford stand toe to toe in the playoff zone. Both have an eye on the multi £M main prize of promotion to the Premiership where they would join another West London warrior, Chelsea.

We are equally spoilt for choice with rugby union, whether it be prestige clubs such as London Irish or London Welsh or provincial league clubs like Chiswick RFC or Grasshoppers (Lon2 NW) all produce entertaining and competitive rugby and enjoy a significant and loyal fan base.

Furthermore, Chiswick is home to numerous Olympians and elite athletes. Access to the river and the playing fields of Duke’s meadow means top class rowing and sculling is available, equally, hockey minor league football and tennis are all catered for.

The scene is set.

Whether it be bowls or badminton, table tennis or Tae kwon do, relevant information will be set out in the Chiswickbuzz directory. The who, what, where and how to get involved will be set out clearly and succinctly.

Minority sports are an important part of the life W4. Chiswickbuzz will cover activities comprehensively, however, we will also offer a direct portal for sports clubs to provide updates, results information and headlines on upcoming socials, open days or tournaments.

In short, Chiswickbuzz should be your first port of call for any sports related query.

An example of W4 customised sports information delivery is the data incorporated in the Chiswickbuzz review of local sports gyms.

Are you considering joining a gym? Does your existing gym offer specialist advice or training? Is nutritional advice also readily available?

How much choice is there? How many gyms are there in and around Chiswick? … The Answer is  least 12, but the number expands exponentially depending on how far you are prepared to travel. If, hypothetically, you are content to expand your horizons 5 miles outside W4 the number of exercise venues increases to 54! Suffice to say we have concentrated on those in or close to Chiswick.

Following the initial enthusiastic knee jerk reaction of rolling into the gym after the festive period, February is often the key month for focus, as well as investment of time and money.

Chiswickbuzz has articles, observations and some video programmes covering a number of Gyms in the area which, as a minimum, will give you an idea of what’s on offer locally and the relative cost. In addition,  ‘Chiswickbuzz comment’ provides candid views of facilities and services available.

It is worth noting that checking out content on Chiswickbuzz could, for selected gyms, activate a special discount code which, on application to your gym, will save you additional £.
