Full Calendar For Chiswick House Development Team
The new development officer for Chiswick House, Jen Dyer reveals a host of new initiatives for the popular gem in Chiswick’s crown.
Jen is the first full time development officer that the Chiswick House and Gardens Trust has appointed and she’s been funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. As main fund-raiser, Jen has been looking at various schemes to fund new projects including the refurbishment of the children’s play area.
Commercial activities play a large part in the fund-raising arena. The Trust is looking forward to some new events including Chiswick Proms (June), The Lord Chamberlains Men performing a Midsummer Night’s Dream (July), Fern Cotton’s Happy Place Festival (August) and Tom Kerridge’s Pub in The Park (September). They’re also looking forward to regular events such as Giffords Circus (June/July), The Great British Food Festival (July), The Luna Cinema (July), Chiswick Book Festival (September), and Chiswick House Dog Show (September). The house and gardens are also a popular and beautiful venue for weddings.
The House and Gardens Trust continues with their popular Kitchen Garden Open Days and guided walks.
